Need / Problem / Conundrum
The Arden Adventist site was built using a form system that allowed the church members themselves to do updates. Some people in their congregation learned the basics of uploading specific content using forms with no GUI ability. They were looking for a way to make the site easier to update, and add in additional functionality, like: Galleries, Sermons, Groups, Calendar, etc.
Solution / Final Thoughts
The new Arden Adventist site was built using WordPress, with plugins that allowed them to add the requested functionality to their site. The ability to have a prayer area was very important to them, as well as the ability to add sermons.
