Every blank excerpt field is a missed chance to tell someone what a post is actually about. Verbum fixes that automatically. It reads each post’s content and writes a genuine two sentence summary using the Anthropic Claude API, so excerpts describe what the article really says instead of just repeating its opening line. If the API is ever unavailable, Verbum quietly falls back to a sentence based extraction method, so no post is ever left with a blank excerpt.
